The Kent mango is one of Robert's all-time favorite local mangoes. 'Kent' was first selected in Coconut Grove, Florida in 1945. The flesh is deep yellow, sweet, aromatic, and virtually fiberless; and the skin maintains a green color even when ripe. The fruit typically ripens in July. A great choice!

Hello everyone,
 
Lychees have arrived early this year. We have the Mauritius and Black Leaf varieties. They can be purchased in store or we can ship to you. If you live anywhere outside of southern or central Florida, the lychees must be shipped UPS Next Day Air.
 
We also have mamey sapote, sapodilla, Asian guava, passion fruit, tamarind, and papaya to name a few. We are just starting to pick the local Glenn mangos, which are the first variety of the season this year. We will be sure to let you know when other varieties are available for shipping.
 
In other exciting news, Robert was glad to host the new Secretary of the Interior, Sally Jewell, on May 1st. She stopped by for a milkshake and some produce after visiting Everglades National Park. Robert had a great time providing an introduction to all the amazing tropical fruits that we have.
